  This is my third review of Mastertech. I am a trained mechanic and worked in the industry for many years before I became an auto shop teacher. I retired 12 years ago, and needed a mechanic that both knows what he is doing, and can be trusted. Fortunately, I found Phillip.
  
  I have read both the positive and negative reviews posted by others. I totally agree with the positive ones, but I am flabbergasted by the negative reviews.
  
  The days of shade tree mechanics are gone. You need an expert who has the correct equipment to repair your vehicle. Phillip is that person.
  
  I remember my early years working as a mechanic in a dealership. People would bring in their car with a complaint. If the mechanic couldn’t figure out what was wrong, he would order a part that was not in stock so he wouldn’t have to worry about it. When the part came in, the customer would bring the car back in. At that point, the work order would only state, “install .... part.“ Then when the ordered part didn’t correct the problem, we had an angry customer and shop forman, and the last mechanic was blamed.
  
  Mechanics like Phillip do a through diagnosis to determine the problem prior to guoting the cost of repair. People who try to bypass that are asking for trouble and inevitably blame the mechanic after they demand only the repair they ask for. Phillip is an excellent mechanic and diagnostician. Let him do his job and you will be pleased every time.
