  If you actually want to keep your stuff, DO NOT store it here. We rented a small unit to accommodate a few things while we moved up from So Cal. We paid six months in advance, and moved into the area after about 6 weeks. Upon getting unpacked I immediately went to the rental office and completed their change of address form. I also provided them with an email address and new cell phone number. Then, as I'm sure many people do with storage units, I completely forgot about it. One night I happened to remember, and when I called them the next morning to confirm that I was up to date with the rent, I was informed that my stuff was scheduled to be auctioned off soon. When I went to the office to speak with the manager directly, I was told that multiple notices had been mailed. Turns out, they had completely left off a digit from my address when they put it into the computer. Instead of consulting the hard copy of the form (which they still had!) or calling or emailing, they filed a lien - it would have been auctioned in a week if I hadn't called! The address that they were attempting to mail to doesn't even exist, so I know the notices must have come back to their office. But still they didn't go to any real effort to contact me, and would have happily sold all my stuff without thinking twice.
